WELCOME TO
THE MAMA LOBBY

VML_AppScreenshots_1.png

Join us to build the political power of moms and families.

WHAT ARE WE LOBBYING FOR?

Mama representation and truly family-friendly policy-making.

We're here for the mamas who want to practice civic self care. We’re here for the mamas who are parenting in a time when our rights are on the line. We’re here for the mamas who are fed up and who want to take action. We're here for a country with more mamas in charge.

American moms are not okay. We’re afraid to send our kids to school. We can’t afford childcare even if we do get off the wait lists. We have no paid family leave, no reproductive rights. Giving birth costs tens of thousands of dollars and we have the worst maternal mortality rate in the industrialized world.

For far too long women—especially moms of young children—have been left out of power. When gun manufacturers, the fossil fuel industry, and big pharma have more influence on our government than moms do—it’s time for us to fight back.”

WHY MAMAS?

When we elect moms, we pass policies that support women, kids, and families.

Only half of women in their 30s & 40s showed up to vote in 2020. By the time women are 45 years old, 85% are mothers—but only 7% of Congress is made of moms with school-aged kids. 73% of Biden-voting moms with young kids are motivated to act—but activism largely excludes them.

Women are unheard because mothers are systemically kept out of the conversation, out of office, and out of power. No more.
